Overview
Humanetics offers surfaced 3D CAD models for use in vehicle packaging studies using major common CAD systems. The models are available in IGES Format for import to CATIA, Pro/Engineer, IDEAS, Unigraphics, PDGS and other IGES compatible systems. The models are derived from the Humanetics family of finite element dummy models and accurately replicate the seated position of dummies.
 
Detailed CAD Models
These 3D surface models are developed for digital mock-up and packaging purposes. They include 3D surface geometry of the dummy external components (head skin, jacket, limbs flesh and pelvis), as well as relevant internal parts (ribs, thorax spine box, neck and skeletal structure). Locations for accelerometers, load cells, pivot joints and head CG are included. Kinematic joint functionality is not included; however the different components can be rotated/positioned using the pivot joints locations.
 
 
Standard CAD Models
These simplified 3D exterior surface models contain 3D surface geometry of the dummy external components (head skin, jacket, limbs flesh and pelvis), and locations for accelerometers, load cells, pivot joints and head CG. Kinematic joint functionality is not included; however the different components can be rotated/positioned using the pivot joints locations.
 
CATIA v5 Models 
These CATIA v5 models require the DMU Kinematics Workbench. Kinematic joint functionality is included.
