Lumbar Flexion Test Fixture - TE-800
The Lumar Flexion Test Fixture certifies the response of the Hybrid II 50th Male lumbar spine to a continuously applied forward force. This is a lumbar flexion test and it requires the use of the assembled thorax, lumbar, abdomen, and thigh assembly. This is considered a system test for the certification of the abdomen according to the federal rules and regulations stated for the 49 CFR Part 572.9 Subpart B Anthropomorphic Test Devices. The dummy's pelvis and thighs are fixed in place to the fixture. The load is applied by use of a spine box with a push force gauge and readings are taken at specific points throughout the range of motion.
The fixture includes all necessary brackets and hardware as well as the required push scale.
Humanetics can provide turnkey certification equipment and system services. This includes certification, data acquisition equipment, and software installation with complete system.
