iTrolley is a new and exciting tool for the test engineer. First Technology Safety Systems (FTSS) has developed a Mobile Deformable Barrier (MDB) that has a load cell face behind the crushable honeycomb. This is a challenging design since the mass of the MDB is tightly regulated. FTSS’s unique experience in light-weight load cells, along with the integration of the very low mass DAS, allows us to create a test device that will meet the new demands of crash testing.
