Humanetics Innovative Solutions, Inc., the global leader in the development of biofidelic crash test dummies, is pleased to announce the acquisition of FronTone GmbH, a leading manufacturer of advanced safety test equipment. Klaus Matlschweiger will continue to lead FronTone as Managing Director, along with the other members of the existing leadership team from its headquarters in Graz, Austria. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

FronTone’s portfolio includes a wide range of test equipment, including dynamic sled, door intrusion, roof crush, and pedestrian and occupant protection test systems. Its unique, patented frictionless electric E-Liner drive system offers the most efficient testing process, providing precise and reproducible test results with the most accurate targeting for a wide range of industrial applications.
